The Catholic Church does not allow the ordination of women to the priesthood. This is based on the belief that Jesus chose only men as his apostles, and that the Church is following this tradition. While some Catholic women may feel called to the priesthood, the Church's teaching on this matter remains unchanged. There are, however, opportunities for women to serve in various leadership roles within the Church. **

A priest ordination typically takes place during a special ceremony within the Catholic Church. The candidate for ordination is first recommended by their local bishop and then goes through a period of discernment and formation in a seminary. During the ordination ceremony, the candidate makes promises of obedience and celibacy, and then receives the laying on of hands by the bishop and other priests, signifying the passing on of the apostolic authority. The candidate is then anointed with holy oil and presented with the symbols of the priesthood, such as the chalice and paten. Finally, the newly ordained priest is welcomed by the congregation and begins their ministry in the service of the Church. **

The position of the Protestant church on the ordination of women varies among different denominations. Some Protestant denominations, such as the Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, have ordained women as clergy for many years and fully support the practice. Other denominations, such as the Southern Baptist Convention and some conservative evangelical churches, do not ordain women as clergy and believe that only men should hold leadership positions within the church. Overall, the Protestant church is not unified in its stance on the ordination of women, and individual denominations have their own interpretations of scripture and traditions that inform their position on this issue. **

A gas heater uses a spark to ignite the gas and create a flame. Once the gas is ignited, it continues to burn and produce heat without the need for a continuous spark. Therefore, after the initial spark, there is no need for it to remain lit as long as the gas is burning. This is why you may only see a spark when the gas heater is turned on, and not a continuous flame. **

During the conferral of priestly ordination in the Catholic Church, the essential words spoken are: "Grant, we pray, Almighty Father, to these your servants, the dignity of the priesthood; renew deep within them the Spirit of holiness. As co-workers with the order of bishops, may they be faithful to the ministry that they receive from you, Lord God, and be to others a model of right conduct." The sacrament of priestly ordination is administered by the bishop, who lays his hands on the candidate's head and prays for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. **

To heat a plate over a candle flame, you can hold the plate above the flame at a safe distance to avoid direct contact with the flame. Move the plate back and forth over the flame to evenly distribute the heat. Be cautious not to hold the plate too close to the flame to prevent it from getting too hot or potentially breaking. **

No, ember is not hotter than fire. Ember is the glowing remains of a fire that has started to die down, whereas fire is the active, burning flames produced by a combustion reaction. Fire typically burns at a higher temperature than ember, as it is actively consuming fuel and releasing heat and light. **
