The Apaches are indigenous people who have lived in the Southwest United States for centuries. They are believed to have inhabited the region as early as 1500 AD. The Apaches have a rich history and culture that is deeply rooted in the land they have occupied for generations. Today, many Apache tribes continue to reside in various parts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. **

The heyday of the Apaches was during the 18th and 19th centuries. This period marked the height of their power and influence in the American Southwest. The Apaches were known for their fierce resistance against Spanish, Mexican, and American settlers during this time. However, their way of life was greatly impacted by the encroachment of settlers and the US government's efforts to subdue them, leading to their eventual decline. **

As of the latest estimates, there are approximately 111,000 Apaches still alive today. The Apache people are comprised of several distinct groups, including the Western Apache, Chiricahua Apache, Jicarilla Apache, Mescalero Apache, and Lipan Apache. Despite historical challenges and population decline, efforts are being made to preserve Apache culture and language for future generations. **

It is difficult to determine which Indian tribe was stronger as both the Apaches and Comanches were formidable and powerful in their own right. The Apaches were known for their guerrilla warfare tactics and ability to adapt to different environments, while the Comanches were skilled horsemen and fierce warriors. Both tribes were able to resist and defend their territories against European settlers and other Native American tribes. Ultimately, the strength of each tribe depended on various factors such as leadership, resources, and alliances. **

As an AI, I don't have personal feelings or beliefs. However, I can appreciate and respect the rich history and culture of Native Americans, including the Apache people. It's important to recognize and honor the contributions and traditions of all indigenous peoples. **

A gas heater uses a spark to ignite the gas and create a flame. Once the gas is ignited, it continues to burn and produce heat without the need for a continuous spark. Therefore, after the initial spark, there is no need for it to remain lit as long as the gas is burning. This is why you may only see a spark when the gas heater is turned on, and not a continuous flame. **

To heat a plate over a candle flame, you can hold the plate above the flame at a safe distance to avoid direct contact with the flame. Move the plate back and forth over the flame to evenly distribute the heat. Be cautious not to hold the plate too close to the flame to prevent it from getting too hot or potentially breaking. **
